All About My First Failure: A Sad Poem on Love – Part 1

Lovely round arms and a bosom to kill, she was no less than a fairy with fluent charms. Maybe she was my first love, this I realized after three full years. I had thought of her as my first crush, but it was not true: she was to my heart too close and to my mind too novel – this post is all about my first failure in love, indeed a sad poem on love to read!

First Meet, All Good and Smooth: Happiness Around

An affable and agreeable girl’ was my first impression when she came out of her car, and ‘a chaotic moody girl’ she seemed from her dress. She wore a knee-length polka-dot dress with ruffles and an uneven hemline, paired with chick black gladiator flats. A round bezel smartwatch and a stylish sunglass completed her looks.

First Reaction of Love: Short Happy Poem

A dream come true was her look,

Which took no time to shook

Me.

All glee

Was my mood and time

And just in time was the sunshine!

After few days, I came to know that her name was Anna Monica. A sweet name indeed for a sweet fair lady.

Below is a short poem on the appearance of Anna Monica.

Few Words on Anna Monica: Happy Short Poem on Appearance

A fair lady quite tall,

In fact, she was as tall

As I was; all soft hues

Adorable, without clues!

She was a charming girl

With a dancing smile to furl

And sway heads.

A necklace of beads

She wore; swore

Her charms even more!

All in all, a nice lady to cheer for

All in all, a fair lady to lure,

And lure did I comprehend,

My subtle ways to command:

Her charm and love

Quite beautiful as a white dove!

A Little About Anna Monica: So Far Not A Sad Poem

Anna Monica was the new girl in the college and everyone seemed to be mad about her. As a matter of fact, every college has a blonde that all look forward to meeting in real-time or in their fantasy dreams, and she was one indeed in my case, always carrying good vibes complemented by a good taste of fashion.

As it happened, she was in the first year like me, and in the same section, which means I saw her every day.

One day after art class, she walked up to me, ‘meet me during lunch under the big banyan tree in front of the exit gate.’

Jaws dropped, I could only say, ‘Okay.’ And she walked away.

I nodded my head in disgust, ‘what the hell just happened,’ ‘how I could even forget the basic courtesy greetings,’ and I promised myself to amend my ways in the next meet-up for sure.

My Feelings After First Face-to-face Meet

Where thou shalt I rest,

Why should I resist?

Thy beauty just fluent and apt:

A smile thou gave, like hundred words to lure hearts,

And, thank God, mine was the first to fall.

A beauty, thou were too fine to miss.

O miss, indeed, thou too fine to miss!
